tree. You may also see a few animals that are not visible
from the path around the tree.

SUMMARY: Ride around the jungle habitat in a jungle
transport. As you move around the paths your guide will
point out different animals. Just about any creature that
you might expect to encounter in the wild is running around
loose here. They do not have free roam of the entire
compound though. The compound was designed to look like it
was all one area but hidden barriers prevent these wild
animals from roaming beyond their own areas. Moats, deep
ravines and other barriers keep them in. Over all worth
seeing but you should plan on riding before 10 AM if you
want to get the most out of your tour.

SUMMARY: A short train ride to and from Conservation Station
is required to get there. Here you will observe how Disney
employees take care of all the different animals in the
park. There is also a petting zoo for the children. Unless
they are caring for an animal there isn't really too much to
see here. Just the different areas in which care is given.
Very educational but not exactly a thrill a minute.

impacts earth. Very bumpy with a lot of twists and turns.
The scenery isn't exactly state of the art but it isn't that
bad. My son loves the ride but I can take it or leave it. A
little too much movement from side to side and up and down.
This ride recently had a name change from "Countdown to
Extinction" but that is the only thing that changed.

SUMMARY: This is the other new ride in DINOLAND. Some of
you may recognize it by the name, crazy or wild mouse
coaster. The coaster car spins from time to time as it
travels the track. Not a very fast ride but fast enough to
give you a little bit of a thrill. If you have never been
on one of these type of coasters you should definitely try
it. Veterans of these will find that it does not perform as
well as some of the others.

SUMMARY: This ride opened in February. It is a roller
coaster with a few twists. During the ride you encounter a
yeti. This coaster is fast going in both directions,
forward and backwards. It is a great addition to an all to
benign Animal Kingdom. Watch for the Yeti standing above
the track near the end of the ride.. A good ride but it
falls a little short. Give me Revenge of the Mummy at
Universal which has a similar concept.
