(6) SUMMARY: This ride is a high speed roller coaster with inverted loops, twists and turns.  Definitely not for the faint of heart.  A whole lot of fun if you like roller coasters.

(6) SUMMARY:  While similar to Disney's Splash Mountain this ride is different in that it has a few surprises.  I won't go into the details but suffice it to say that it isn't over when you think it's over.  A fun and unique ride.

(6) SUMMARY: The Manta is a high speed coaster with many inversions (you go upside down).  One important twist to this ride is that while you are at the boarding station and after you are secured in the seats, they turn the seats so that you are facing the ground and your head is pointing towards the front of the coaster.  There are elastic body supports to make the ride comfortable while you are in the face down position.  While the ride is in motion you feel like you are flying (or soaring like a ray).  Your feet are also locked in place so that they do not feel uncomfortable and so they do not dangle during the ride.  This is a really great ride but if there are any delays at the station when you return it can be a bit uncomfortable hanging there waiting for the car to enter the station.  They can not rotate the seats back up until you are at the unload area.  There is also an aquarium inside the que area where you can see all kinds of rays and fish.

(6) SUMMARY: Wild Arctic is a simulator ride.  The premise of the ride is that you are taking a helicopter ride to an Arctic research station.  Lots of dips, dives, and a couple of tense moments.  Once you arrive at the station you can walk around and see Beluga whales, polar bears, and walruses.  This is a great stop on a hot day as the temperatures inside the station are near freezing.

(6) SUMMARY: Believe is the name of the current show at Shamoo Stadium.  The show features several killer whales performing different behaviors.  All behaviors in this show are trained through positive reinforcement meaning that the whales are rewarded when they do something right but not punished for doing something wrong or not at all.  All of the animal shows use this type of training.  Killer whales are at the top of the food chain in the ocean.  They have no natural enemies.  The relationship that these mammals have with their trainers is amazing.  Remember, the lower section up to the walkway is a splash zone.  The lower you are in that section the more likely you are to get splashed with ice cold salt water.  Salt water and electronic devices such as cameras do not get along.  Protect your cameras from the water.

(6) SUMMARY: Blue Horizons is a great show.  Performers along with whales and dolphins put on a show that includes aerial acrobatics and interaction with the mammals set to music.

(6) SUMMARY: Dogs, cats and even a pig are featured in this show which has a beach side town as a backdrop.  All the animals seen here are rescues from local shelters.  They are trained to do a variety of tricks and put into the show.  Don't worry about the animals that do not wish to learn the tricks.  Untrainable and retired show animals have a permanent home at Sea World where they are taken care of for the rest of their lives.
